Lounging Around

I took this at the Starbucks on campus. I tried to take a candid shot so that it looked natural but of course, my boyfriend, kept smiling because apparently he knew he was the subject matter.

Gas Lampost

I was in Frederick, MD yesterday and while walking around, I saw this antique gas lampost. Frederick, MD is quite a historic town. Not only was it chartered in 1748 but it is also the place where several Civil War skirmishes took place. It is only less than an hour away from Washington, DC and I highly encourage all to come visit this charming town.

The Capitol Viewed Through the Trees

I was on my way to work this morning and as I entered Longworth House Office Building, I caught a perfect view of the Capitol through the bareless trees.

Trees

I love trees, especially during the winter. I think it's because these kinds of trees lose their leaves while the trees in Florida do not. It is still a foreign idea to me but I find it to be quite interesting that the leaves come back in the spring. This shot was taken near the parking lot of McMahon and during sunset.

Best Friends

This is a photo of my two good friends after a long day of classes. I thought the mood was right as the lighting in the room was dimmed and on the spur of the moment, I took a photo of them.
